GroundY - Yohji Yamamoto Collection: Spring/Summer 2019 Item: GZ-T24-019 Tag Size: 3 Composition: Cotton (100%) Made in Japan. This is an oversized shirt from the highly collectible 2019 capsule collaboration between Yohji Yamamoto's GroundY and Ghost in the Shell イノセンス (Innocence). The cut and sewn shirt features large wraparound wireframe artwork, a front pocket, a high-low hem with asymmetrical gussets, and a side-button tab detail which allows you to change the silhouette. The android artwork was modelled after the anatomical figure “Dissected Venus” from the La Specola Museum and the design aligns with the film’s themes: questioning the meaning of physical existence and the relationship between the body and soul. The same artwork appears in the images released for the capsule collection and in the photo shoot for the collection (see photos). Fine used condition with a pulled thread by the seam on the back of the neck (see macro photos).
