AW17 Black Officer’s Coat
Description
An amazing coat from Haider’s AW17 collection. One of the prominent motifs in Haider’s work is the way women wear clothes taken from their partners, and this coat, shown on both the men’s and women’s runway, is one of the clearest examples of this code. The coat was shown and produced for both men and women, but with essentially the same sizing. The coat features a double breasted closure and a leather collar lining reminiscent of the luxurious linings used in his work at Berluti. An all-time Haider outerwear piece. Tagged a women’s 34, fits like a men’s S. I previously had a men’s 48 of this same coat, and it fit just a bit larger, more like a medium, but with the same proportions.
