The Ultramarine color first appeared in 1991 on an Air Max 180 model. This time, the bright Ultramarine and Solar Red accents complement the crisp lines found across the Air Max 90. The upper is made of a tight, breathable mesh with smooth leather overlays. The tonal overlays form part of the lace cage and wrap around the shoe. A Swoosh in Ultramarine peeks out from between the leather overlays and matches the collar and tongue lining.
