The Nike LeBron 19 “Hardwood Classic” is one of several colorways of LeBron James’s nineteenth signature shoe with Nike Basketball. In black, white, purple, and gold, the “Hardwood Classic” is undoubtedly inspired by the team uniform colors of the Los Angeles Lakers, the basketball team LeBron won an NBA Championship with in 2020. The shoe’s black textile upper base is contrasted with white checkerboard detailing that forms a grid motif. A yellow outline Swoosh is found beneath the transparent “window” on the collar. The shoe’s Flywire cables and TPU “wings” provide the wearer with a lockdown fit that inspires confidence when making hard cuts and starts and stops on the basketball court. An interior sleeve ensures a snug-yet-comfortable fit. The white foam midsole rides above Max Air bubbles in the forefoot and heel.
