The Nike Air Trainer 3 “Viotech” is a 2020 retro release that pays homage to the original colorway that debuted back in 2002. This “Viotech” design was immensely popular in the early 2000s and is deemed by many to be one of the greatest colorways of the multi-purpose shoe ever. Dubbed “Viotech” by Nike, the regal purple hue appears in dark and light shades across the perforated leather toe, mid-panel, and heel. Contrasting yellow Swoosh branding compliments the mid-panel. The adjustable velcro midfoot strap is a hallmark of the Air Trainer series, and allows the wearer to customize the fit on the fly. A light grey synthetic rubber overlay panel graces the heel and a visible Air unit in the heel of the midsole provides a cushioned ride. The Nike Air Trainer 3 “Viotech” was released on June 1, 2020.
