Description
The Nike Air Raid “White/Gum” is a classic look for the outdoor performance basketball shoe that originally gained traction in the early 1990s. The model’s rugged appearance is a throwback to the footwear styles produced during Nike’s ‘90s basketball heyday. Reinforced midfoot straps and upgraded tooling helped the Air Raid set itself apart from its indoor contemporaries. On the design, white mesh appears on both sides. Tonal leather overlays can be found on the forefoot, eyelets, mid-panel, and collar. The two adjustable nylon cross straps provide the wearer with a secure fit. Nike supplies the shoe once endorsed by hoops star Tim Hardaway with its classic “Air Raid” branding on the ankle strap. “Nike Air” detailing is embroidered onto the white leather tongue. The phrase “For Outdoor Use Only” is a trademark of the Air Raid’s design and can be found on the heel.
