Description
The Nike Air Mowabb “Gravity Purple” is one of several original colorways of the outdoors performance shoe that was re-issued by Nike for the style’s 30th anniversary in 2021. The “Gravity Purple” joins classic Air Mowabb colorways like the “Twine” and “Rattan Birch” in reliving the greatness that is the Tinker Hatfield-inspired shoe 30 years after its original release. One of the most legendary Nike ACG models ever produced, the modern version of the Air Mowabb features several design modifications, chief among them a stretchier collar and softer foam midsole, as well as added loops to the tongue and heel and a mini Swoosh at the toe. The rest of the design remains true to the original ‘91 release. The Gravity Purple suede base is contrasted with yellow “ACG” branding on the lateral side of the black neoprene bootie. The bootie provides the wearer with a snug, lockdown fit. Underfoot, a navy blue speckled midsole and lugged black rubber outsole with ‘90s-style “Air Mowabb” branding finishes off the look.
