Y's for Men - Yohji Yamamoto Collection: Archive (1990s) Item: MZ-P08-004 Tag Size: L Composition: Cotton (80%), Polyester (20%) Made in Japan. These pants from Yohji Yamamoto's Y's for Men collection feature a subtle check pattern composed of dashed contrasting lines against a textured weave which creates a heathered or marled impression to the fabric with variations in the thickness of the lines. They have a double button front with zipper, belt loops, two side pockets, and two back pockets with buttons. The use of a letter size indicator on the tag suggests they come from an earlier collection before autumn 1999. In good used condition. He created it based on the idea of clothing for men that would complement his Y's line for women thereby "enabling a man to look his best when standing next to her." The Y's for Men line has always been inspired by Yohji's personal wardrobe. In 2023 the Y's for Men line returned after 13 years and is now a current line again. Offers welcome.
