The fabric is coated in plant-based polycarbonate nylon for increased waterproofing. The 2.5 Layer Rain Jacket features a 3-D shaped high neck hood, drop shoulder with long sleeves, dual chest pockets, dual full-length side zippers, D-ring, full zip, and button closure. The entire jacket can be packed up into the hood. The jacket has a water pressure resistance of 20,000 mm and a moisture permeability of 9,000 g. The water repellency has been dramatically improved compared to past seasons; it maintains grade 3 water repellency even after 100 washes. The jacket is less likely to deteriorate due to hydrolysis and has excellent durability. By daring to use 2.5 layers instead of 3 layers, it achieves both light weight and a dry feeling on the surface that comes into contact with the skin.
